As my kids would say...That was the best vacation EVER!!!

So here's the very long run down of our trip. Happy reading! We left on our vacation on Friday, March 27th at 6am. The kids slept most of the way until we got to Provo. We stopped for about 30 minutes and then drove the rest of the way to Las Vegas. We arrived at about 3pm and checked into a hotel and relaxed the rest of the day. We slept in, ate breakfast and headed out again and arrived at our hotel in California at about 3pm. We stayed right across the street from Knotts Berry Farm. It was about 6 miles from Disneyland. The hotel had a free shuttle that took us to the park each day. We stayed at the Raddison Inn and they had a really nice full buffet breakfast each morning so we filled up everyday before we hit the park. Our first day there we went to the beach, and hung out at the hotel and swam. The second day we went to Disneyland. We packed a cold lunch and snacks to take into the park each day and then just ate out for dinner each night. It worked out really well and saved us a lot on food. The third day we went to California Adventure. Then by the fourth day our feet were killing us so we took the day off and relaxed by the pool. On the fifth day, it was back to Disneyland. Sixth day, California Adventure again. Seventh day, we said good bye to Disney and slowly headed back to Vegas for the night. We arrived at about 9pm because we had a hard time parting with California. We slept in since we were so wiped out from all that walking and then we decided to see a little bit of Vegas before we left. Not impressed. So not kid friendly after Disneyland. Then we stopped in St. George and had dinner with my brother and his family. We didn't leave there until late either, not wanting our vacation to end. So instead of driving straight home we stayed the night at my sisters house in Eagle Mountain. Still not wanting to go home, we stopped at the movies in Sandy and saw Monsters vs. Aliens. Then finally it was time to go home. So after 10 days of non stop fun, we arrived back home safe and sound. We are all so grateful we were able to go on this trip. We had the time of our lives!!! It was about 40 degrees when we left. Notice in the picture loading the car, the boys are wearing their winter coats.
When we arrived in California it was about 80 degrees. It felt so good to feel the sun on our skin again! The hotel we stayed in was so beautiful. It felt like a tropical oasis.

You just can't understand Disney until you've been there. There is nothing like it. Knotts Berry farm was a dissapointment after Disney. We've didn't get to stop and meet all of those princesses when we went. Glad you had fun.
