Happy Birthday Jordan!

Jordan's 11th Birthday was on February 25th. He woke up to the whole family in his bedroom singing Happy Birthday to him. He also got breakfast in bed. Then he had to get up and get ready for school. He got to get checked out of school at lunchtime by his dad.He took him to Jamba Juice with a gift card that his brother, Austin gave him that he earned at school. Then he took him to the store to buy doughnuts and bring them back to his school class.
Later that night the whole family went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse and went to see the movie, "Percy Jackson and the Olympians". Jordan has read all the books and loved them. He was waiting specifically for his birthday to watch this movie. We all loved it. Then Grandma and Grandpa Anderton came over to watch him open presents from our family and have some ice cream cake.
Then on Saturday he had 10 friends come over for a Party.
We drew a giant game board on our cement floor with sidewalk chalk and the boys were their own game pieces and rolled a giant die we made out of a box.
They had so much fun playing this game!
Next they played a game where they tied balloons to their ankles and had to try and pop each others balloons.
After everyone was tired and out of breath. We came up stairs for a game of Truth or Dare. Jordan and I printed out lots of strips of paper with Truths or Dares on them so we could keep the game somewhat under control.
They just sat in a circle and picked out of a bowl with Truths or Dares in them.
These are some of the things they had to do. Stand outside and hold this sign.
Dress up like Captain Underpants and run to the corner and back.
All the boys followed him and thought it was so funny!
He had to dress up in Princess Jewelry and strike a pose. They were all such good sports. It made the game really fun. They didn't want to quit for cake and ice cream! But eventually we did. This is the cake Jordan and his dad came up with this year. His friends all get a kick out of his cakes at his party.
Jordan is still wearing Courtney's Crown that says "Birthday Princess" and sitting in her Princess chair. He had to do that for one of the dares and I guess he liked it so much he continued to stay with it during cake and ice cream. It was a really fun party. Jordan is such a fun kid and has lots of good friends. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JORDAN! I hope you enjoyed your day as much as I did helping you plan it. I love you!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JORDAN!!!!! That is AWESOME! Who let him turn ELEVEN though? I remember when he was just a cute little quiet boy who answered my questions in CTR7. sigh. Well, you did a great job on his party, as usual!
