Ha Ha! Gottcha!

Finally!...It's payback time for all the stuff I have to put up with on a daily basis from my husband and children! I got them good! At work that day, I had a lady write me a note. Then when I got off, I drove over to Ron's work and stuck the note on the windshield of his car. It read, "Sorry I hit your car. Call me for my insurance information." Oh, that just makes me laugh just thinking about it! I can just picture Ron walking all around his car, looking for damage. He loves his cars and always notices even the slightest imperfections. I knew this would drive him NUTTS!!! Next I went home and got on Tyler's laptop and changed his screen saver. My friend Janna, from work, switched heads of Michael Phelps and put Tyler's head on the picture instead. Then she emailed it to me. I'm not that talented to do that. When I need something like that done, I go to Tyler for help. But in this case, that wouldn't work. So thank you Janna for your help!
What a surprise that was when Tyler turned on his computer! He's a big swimmer, so I thought Michael Phelps would be funny.
But first he had to go down stairs, down the dark hallway, and into his bedroom. I taped Seran Wrap on the inside of his bedroom door. Right where his face hits and his feet. I did this to all of my kids bedroom doors before they got home from school. It was awesome! Worked like a charm! They fell right into my trap. Literally. It helped that the hallway was dark. You can't even see it!
Then I was off to make dinner, "Chicken Not Pie" anyone? I made standard pie crust, rolled a ball of foil into the individual pie tins, and then put another flat piece of foil on top to smooth it out and then laid the crust on top of that and crimped the edges and poked holes in the top.
Then I baked them in the oven, and got out my vegetables I prepared the night before.
Aren't they so cute? The peas are green apple Laffy Taffy. I softened them up a bit in the microwave and then rolled them into balls. The carrots are orange Starburst candy cut into fourths. The corn is lemon Starburst cut into fourths and then pinched on the bottom and just rounded off a little on top. I love it! It turned out AWESOME!
Next I cut up a white chocolate bar to look like chicken chunks. Then added them all to some white chocolate instant pudding. He he, this is so much fun!
After your pie crusts have cooled, you lift off the tops and remove the foil and fill with your mixture. Then I put them back on the cookie sheet and carried them over to the table with hot pads for affect.
They were totally fooled once again! After they ate their dinner, I demanded they have some pie!
It was pie crust on the bottom, meatloaf in the middle, and mashed potatoes on top colored with a little beet juice.
Tyler and Jordan loved it. Courtney and Austin didn't want any dessert. They filled up on their Chicken Not Pie.
