First off, I LOVE Valentine's day. I think it is such a sweet holiday to show the ones you love how much they mean to you. I wish I focused on how much my family means to me more often. We had such a good day.
It started of with this yummy breakfast treat I found on Sand & Sisal blog. It was really easy to make. It was Pepperidge Farm puff pastry sheets I cut out in heart shapes and then had raspberries and chocolate chips. I made them the night before and then just baked them in the morning and served them on red heart paper plates with some pink strawberry milk. Everyone really liked them.

For Valentine's Day this year, I got a little more creative (and daring) for my husband's gift.
I get home from work an hour and half before my kids get home. So, the night before I made sure Ron wasn't going to be busy the next day at work at that time and that he would be able to take his lunch break then so my plan would work. That morning I went out to his car and put a note on his steering wheel letting him know of our "appointment" at that time. I won't give all the details, but if you want some fun romance ideas or anything to spice up your marriage, you can go to this blog, (http://loveactually-blog.blogspot.com/2010/04/body-shop-date-night-roleplay.html) and see what I did for Valentine's Day for him. I went all out too with props and everything. It was so much fun, and he LOVED it! I made one mistake though. I put one of the signs on the front door to the house just before he arrived home and told him to ring the bell for service. Well, I forgot to take that one down before the kids got home from school. They were very curious what that sign was all about! oops!
After dinner, we had FHE since it was Monday night. Ron found a funny valentine story in the Child Craft books we have and had Tyler read it to us. The kids loved it and were laughing so hard. We just had a good night together. Then Ron and I gave the kids a small box of chocolates and a little present. We had these cookies for the treat. It was another great Valentine's Day!!!

OLD enough to be their mom?!! only if you had a baby when you were 18! Sounds like a fun job! Remember 11 years ago? We celebrate valentine's on the 15th, the anniversary of our 1st date! Thanks for that!
