We've been busy!

I know its been a while since my last post. Don't worry, we are still alive, we have just been busy! Our camera broke too so that slowed down my blogging also. What fun is a post without pictures? What has been taking up most of our time lately is football. Jordan and Austin are both playing on teams this year. When they are not at team practice, they are having personal practice with Tyler. He doesn't mind it with his brothers but doesn't want to be on a team. He doesn't like committing that much time to it. Jordan has practice 4 nights a week for 2hrs plus a game for another 2hrs. Tyler values his free time too much and didn't want to spend it on football.
They have fun practicing together. I'm so glad they have each other.
This is what Courtney does during football practice.
Austin just finished up his last season of flag football. His team only lost one game!!!
Sorry about the bunny ears in this picture. They snuck in right as I snapped the picture.
Austin's an animal! He is so good at getting those flags. No fear at all!
Look at him go! Austin plays Corner and Safety on Defense.
Ahhh...look at this cute football player. He is just so adorable in his pads isn't he? What a mommas boy, he's even wearing my number!
Jordan plays Corner, Linebacker, and Running back.
Wow! Check out Jordan's Coach! What a hottie! We went to the Eastern Idaho State Fair in September. The Boy Scouts of America had an obstacle coarse. This was my boys favorite thing at the fair. So that is all I got pictures of. We also went to the Hypnotist show. It was pretty fun.
We also discovered a cool Skate Park in Idaho Falls this football season. My boys could have watched those skaters for hours. They are so good! My kids begged me to bring them back to the park and let them try. They had fun but it was really hard because the cement is so slippery and they would fall into the pit and someone would have to help them out. They couldn't crawl up it on their own. Plus those skaters are really good and fast and you have to watch out or you will get run over. One of the teenagers told us about another skate park that was better for beginners. He said it was easier to learn on the wood rather than the cement. I didn't take pictures at the cement skate park but here are some at the wood one.
Tyler walked our dog, Aries while Jordan and Austin skated. Isn't our dog cute?
We also took a trip to Saint George in September to attend my little brother, Jeremy's wedding.
It took us 9 hours to drive from Idaho Falls to Saint George, UT. We took the Batmobile and put the seats down and the kids enjoyed the ride.
Okay, now this is rare footage. We don't usually let outsiders see inside the Batmobile just because they are usually disappointed. When I was the 8yr olds scout leader, the boys would always want to ride with me. But when they climbed in and saw that there were no gadgets hanging from the ceiling or jump seats or anything like that, they were so disappointed and I just hate to burst their bubble.
This is our handsome driver the whole way there and back. I'm so lucky he never makes me drive!
When we first got to Saint George we went to our friend Cheyenne's house. She just moved moved there this summer and we were so happy to see her and her family again. We have been friends with them our whole married life. Ron and I went out to dinner with her and her new husband and the kids stayed at her house and played with her kids. We had so much fun with them. I wish we had more time to visit.(sorry no pics of that)
That night we stayed at a time share with my sister and her family and my brother and his family. We had fun with them too.(Sorry no pics of that either. what is wrong with me?)
The next morning we went to the wedding .
This is my little brother, Jeremy and his wife Kristina.
Kristina is amazing! How many brides do you know that made their own wedding cake, made all the decorations and tablecloths, and then also cooked all the luncheon food for all the guests? Chicken stuffed with asparagus, and Pork Chops stuffed with mushrooms. Well Kristina did it all! She was a one woman show. I know, AMAZING!!!
Jeremy & Kristina have both been married before so they already have a family. Thus the four kids in the wedding photo. We are so happy for them and wish them the best.
This is my entire family. Everyone was able to attend! My youngest brother is getting married one month after Jeremy so we will get to do this all again!
Jordan & Ron especially liked Jeremy & Kristina's wedding color choice. They didn't even complain about dressing up!(their Sandcreek Football Team colors) The next night we camped in Pine Valley, UT. It was gorgeous! My sister and her family had to go home after the wedding so they didn't camp with us and we missed them!
In the morning we ate a good breakfast and headed out to Zions National Park for the day.
We had so much fun. The hiking was perfect for all ages. You could choose what you wanted to do.
Jordan wanted to take this picture on the bus. They weren't kidding either! I have never seen squirrles so aggresive in my life! They were not afraid at all of humans. If you were sitting on a rock resting for a minute, one would just come right up on your lap and crawl onto your shoulders looking for food. It was kind of creepy. My 3yr old nephew was eating some trail mix out of a baggie and one came right up to him and snatched it right out of his hand!
See what I mean? Not afraid at all to walk right up to Courtney. They seemed like they were starving and wanted to take a bite out of you!
They kids loved spending the weekend with their cousins.
This is Weeping Rock. If you look closely you can see the water coming off the rock on the left of this picture.
This is Weeping Rock again. See how the rock curves and the water drips down off of it. It felt so good. It was 98 degrees that day! This picture is of my older brother, Randy and Ron. The kid in the red behind them is Jeremy's son Dakota we took with us while they were on their honeymoon.
This is our hiking group. Everyone but my sister and her family :(
This part was so beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice! It was almost like a rain forest here by that small waterfall.
And here's the kids behind the waterfall. AWESOME!
This is another picture of Weeping Rock just looking straight up at the rock with the water coming off of it.
Jordan, Eric and Austin are catching some water under the rock. This had to be one of our favorite hikes. We had such a good time in Southern Utah we didn't want to come back! But of course, all good things must come to an end!

Super fun pictures. I don't even recognize Jordan anymore - he all of the sudden grew up! I'm glad you got to be with your family for your brother's big day. Good times. By the way will you please call ME some time too?
