Christmas 2011
The day after Christmas we drove down to Utah and had a Christmas Party with my family at Anthony & Jeanies house. We always do it with in a day or two of Christmas because my brother, Randy comes home from Seattle then.
Our traditional Nativity is getting smaller each year, now that some of the kids think they are too old to participate anymore.

Christmas Eve
The Museum of Idaho had a fun Christmas Exhibit that was free to the public this year. It had all kinds of different nativities from around the world. It also had a collection of Santa Claus' and old-fashioned Christmas toys.
We all really enjoyed it. Don't be fooled by the expressions on their faces in the pictures. Trust me, they had fun. They just were tired of me taking their picture multiple times.
Afterwards we went to the theater and watched a Christmas movie. It was really cute.
The kids all slept that night in Tyler's room, while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads. It was a really fun day!

Christmas Fun
The kids and I went to the annual Stokes Family Christmas Party without Ron this year because he was in North Dakota most of December. We all still managed to have some fun anyway. He came back home the week of Christmas and it finally snowed so we wasted no time and went sledding. Dad always makes sledding so much fun!
Courtney and Aries watched from the back of the Yukon when they got cold. The boys never got cold and could keep going for hours if we let them!

Fall Activities
Courtney started her first extracurricular activity...Gymnastics! she LOVES it! That is her swinging on the rope above the foam pit.
We went to countless football games this season. Both Hillcrest High School and Jordan and Austin's Grid Kid teams.
Jordan wrestled on the Sandcreek Junior High Team this year. He is in 7th grade and wrestled as their light- weight, 75lbs. He was so fun to watch. He did awesome! He took 2nd place at the Junior High Championships!

Mount Olympus Logistics LLC
In November, Ron quit his job with Ideacom to start a trucking business with two of his coworkers, Jeff Robbins & Melanie Taylor. They got a contract to haul water to the oil fields in North Dakota.Jordan had a part in naming the company. He has really been into Greek Mythology latlely. He even named his dog Aries. So they decided to name each of their trucks after Greek Gods too.
It has been quite the adventure.
More on that later...

Halloween 2011
I helped in Courtney's class with her Halloween Party. She is in 2nd grade this year.
Her classmates were pretty impressed when Courtney told them we drove to the school in the Batmobile.
Courtney carved her pumpkin as a Cinderella's Stagecoach (of course, it's 4x4 since Courtney asked for Dad's help)
Jordan LOVES Batman. He designed his costume this year and I made it for him. He loved it!
Austin's costume looked pretty awesome too! He was a Mad Scientist.
Tyler was too cool to dress up this year. He just ate dinner and then quickly disappeared downstairs. Hence, no Halloween pictures of him. :(
