Austin turned ten on June 1st. He started his day off with his favorite meal of the day which is breakfast. He
loves sausage, egg & cheese McMuffins. So that is what he got. He also got it served to him in bed. Then he got to open presents earlier in the day than usual because his dad had to catch a flight that morning to San Diego for work. I don't have access to any of the pictures I took that day because like I explained in my previous post, they are on my computer that is out of commission at the moment. On his birthday we also went to the skate park and Austin brought his scooter and played for a while. He didn't want to have his friend party without his dad there, so we waited until the weekend when Ron was home.
He had his friend party at Peterson Park because it has lots of fun hills to play on.
They especially loved playing Capture the Flag on the hills. They wore their flag football flags and had lots of fun.
Then they passed water balloons to each other.
Look how happy the Birthday Boy is!
Then they played Tug O' War.
Next it was boys vs Ron. The boys won :)
Then it was time for cake and ice cream. Austin wanted a football cake. Austin and most of these boys just finished up their flag football season the week before. Their team went undefeated the whole season and won the championship game!!! So they all had football on the brain!
Then it was time for opening presents! Austin is such a sweet boy and has a really great group of friends. He is so friendly and kind and has always made friends so easily. We love having Austin in our family!
