Happy Halloween!

This year my brother Anthony and his family came up from Utah to celebrate Halloween with us. We had such a fun day. We went to the haunted Farmers Market where they had a costume parade and contest. Courtney and Alex had so much fun together. They looked adorable.
Then we came home and the kids played while Tyler and his friend worked on making a haunted house in our garage.
We ate a spooky dinner of Mummy Meatloaf, blood worm jello, deviled eyeballs, lady finger breadsticks, toes and witches brew with dry ice. My pictures are lacking this year but some are repeats from last year that I took better pictures of if you want to look back at them.
There's the empty plate of blood worms. They obviously were a favorite among the ghouls.
These eyeballs were new this year. I cracked the eggs after they were boiled and left them in water colored red for a few minutes. It made the little red veins in the eye. I wish I would have taken a picture of it. They looked pretty gross!
These toes wrapped in bandages were very realistic. They are little wieners with ketchup and tortillas. On the plate is what is left of the mummy meatloaf. I never did get a picture of that one. It had strips of American white cheese on top of it slightly melted to make the bandages. The kids all enjoy the spooky dinner and look forward to it each year.
These are our Trick or Treaters. They are all so cute!
This is the entrance of Tyler's Haunted House. I couldn't take any other pictures because it was too dark inside with just a black light for light. But he did a good job and had a lot of fun. There were sounds of girls screaming all night! It was a really fun Halloween!
