This is Tyler the night before his 50miler. He was so excited to go and absolutely loves everything to do with scouting. He thought it was awesome that he could pack every little thing he could possibly need to survive for 5 days on his back.
This is Tyler and his Dad who also went on the 50 mile hike with him just after they returned home. Tyler said he had 32 misquito bites (he had plenty of time to count them). Plus they both had cuts all over their legs and arms. Ron's ankles and knees were very swollen. Tyler just kept saying how nice our air conditioned, comfortable house was. He said he loves Technology and hates nature and everything about it. Now this is coming from a kid that loves scouts and camping. I think that will wear off as the memories fade. I hear that was one tough hike! Ron said it was the most physically challenging thing he has ever done and he is an Eagle Scout! NOT SO HAPPY CAMPERS.

Hutner swore he would never hike or camp again. Until the next Monday when Jeff took them to Redfish Lake for three days so I could actually accomplish something here. :)
