A few things about me
It's been a while since my last post. I just haven't felt up to it much lately. I have the winter blues I think. Today I will try to post something. I saw this on someone else's blog and thought I would give it a try. If you are reading this, you are tagged to do it next.
8 FAVORITE SHOWS:
1.American Idol
2.Good Things Utah
3.KSL news (sorry, but I'm still a Utah girl at heart)
4.Design on a Dime
5.Ultimate "Home Edition" Make-over
6.Ellen
7.David Letterman
8.American Greed
I actually don't watch a lot of TV. It was really hard to come up with that many shows. The top 3 are the only ones I watch pretty regularly.
8 FAVORITE RESTAURANTS
1.Sol Rio
2.Chilli's
3.Texas Roadhouse
4.Five & Diner (I love their Ruben & Vanilla Coke)
5.Subway
6.Cold Stone (I LOVE ice cream!)
7.Olive Garden
8.Papa Murphy's (Their Chicken, spinach & artichoke thin delite is sooo good. I could eat it every single day and never tire of it!)
8 THINGS I DID YESTERDAY
1. read scriptures with my family
2. exercised
3. did laundry
4. washed dishes
5. played cards with Austin & Courtney
6. made Honey BBQ ribs for dinner for the first time. They were yummy!
7. Went to Austin's Basketball game.
8. played on the computer
8 THINGS I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO
1. Spring
2. Hopefully a vacation to Disneyland this year
3. Courtney's Birthday (It's so fun having a girl)
4. A better year than 2008 (it was tough from beginning to end)
5. walking barefoot in the green grass
6. leaves on my trees
7. My bathroom downstairs being done
8. going for walks with my husband late at night when the kids are in bed (we are fair-weather kind of people. We can't walk in the cold :)
8 THINGS I WISH
1. that Austin didn't have Asthma (the cold weather is so hard for him)
2. that Tyler would let himself be a kid and not act so grown-up all the time. I worry about him that he is so high strung.
3. that Courtney stays sweet and nice and doesn't become spoiled & rotten because she is the baby and the only girl.
4. that my brother, Randy would meet a nice girl to marry and have a happy life with. I would really love to see him become a Dad.
5. that my husband didn't have so much stress in his life.
6. that my mom and little brother are happy.
7. that I could go back and erase all the bad things I have done or said to people
8. that I could see the positive side of things more and not always think the worst.
(Annette, you're next!)

Sorry we missed you the other night. We knocked a few times and then waited in the car for a while and knocked again, oh well...there's always next month :)
Tonight I was looking at the ad for Papa Murphey's and I really wanted to try that chicken pizza, it looks so good, now I know that looks are not deceiving.
I enjoy reading tags like these, it's fun to get to know each other better!
I love the new header! It looks even more perfect with the background than I thought it would! Don't even think about paying me... I am happy to help you out. You are now my friend and I don't make money off friends. I'm glad you like it. Also, thanks for the sweet comment on my blog. I am really excited and hope that I get a girl! Keep your fingers crossed!!!
Malinda - if you knew half of how amazing you are you'd be so stuck up that you would only talk to yourself! I love you. You are the best! I hope 2009 is the best year EVER for you!
I have to second that about the Spinach Artichoke Pizza mmm mmm! Maybe we inherited the same taste buds.
I often think about Randy and Zach and your mom. My wish is that they are doing ok too.
Have a great day....Don't be too hard on yourself and blame yourself when your day isn't that great. You are doing the best you know how and that's all you need to do. I see myself in some of the things you share, so this is a pep talk for me too.
Love ya,
Alicia
