We started Christmas Eve day out with sleeping in late. We knew it would be a long night and we wanted to be rested up. Since we got up so late we decided to take the kids out to brunch. Then we came home and got a few last minute things taken care of (Mostly Tyler and Jordan finishing up Dad's present)then we put on our snow gear and headed outside. Ron gave each of the kids their own squirt bottle filled with water and food coloring. Tyler had blue, Jordan green, Austin red, and Courtney pink. They were entertained for hours in our backyard coloring the snow. (Thank's Jeanie for the great idea. Our kids have never forgot that!) Then when they were done with that we headed over to the church for sledding. Ron hooked their sleds to the back of the truck and pulled them all around the parking lot. When we couldn't feel our feet anymore, we got in the truck and went to look at Christmas Lights. They were really good this year. After we got home, we had hot chocolate and watched a short movie on the birth of Jesus Christ. Then the kids got to open one gift. Pajama's! So we changed and got all cozy and watched "The Christmas Story" and ate pizza and then went to bed. It was a great day.

I love that colored water idea, I will have to try it with my kids, I know they would love it. Thanks!
Hey Malinda,
This is Kathy (Annette's "blog" friend). If you want, I can make you a header to match your blog. Do you want one to match the blog background you have now, or did you want a different background? Also, I've created a new blog (www.bloggerspond.blogspot.com) where I've posted some of my blog background designs. You are welcome to any of them.
Let me know.
Love the water idea :) And since Tyler was in my bears group and Jordan was in our primary class, shouldn't I get some credit for the R2D2? Just kidding! They did awesome!
I got your message on my background blog. After you preview are you saving the template? If not, go ahead and do that. It should make it stay when you view your blog. Let me know if that helps.
