You did WAY too good of a job on this costume. Do you remember when I told you that Ella is TERRIFIED of Darth Mahl (or however you spell it)? She is unnaturally freaked out by him. She saw the DVD sitting on our cabinet and screamed like she was being eaten by a snake! For nearly two months we had to let her sleep on the couch with the lights on - because of Darth Mahl!!! So we were by our old house and we ran into Ron and Tyler and Ella hid behind me and kept saying, "He's not real - right? He's just dressed up - right mom?" Poor kid. Next time don't be such an amazing mom! You are scaring my poor little girl!!!
I wish I had seen the Darth Maul costume first hand. The photo looks great, though. I think what really impressed me were the darkened teeth; that shows the attention to detail that is necessary for any obsessive Star Wars fanatic.
By the way, my girls love Darth Maul. After having seen the Original Trilogy, MacKayla keeps asking to see Episode I.
